The Phoenician Resort - Broadbeach is the preferred accommodation venue for AFL Masters Tas.

We encourage everyone attending the competition to stay at The Phoenician Resort - Broadbeach or closeby and be part of the AFL Masters Tas group experience.

Take advantage of our group accommodation allocation, with one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments. Complete the group accommodation form below to request a booking.

All apartments are fully self-contained and include complimentary Wi-Fi and one car parking space per apartment.

One-Bedroom Apartments

Room type: Fully self-contained one-bedroom apartment
Maximum occupancy: 2 guests
Rate: $246 per night, accommodation only

Bedding configurations:

  • 1 × Queen bed

  • 2 × Single beds (additional one-off fee of $30 per apartment)

Two-Bedroom Apartments

Room type: Fully self-contained two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment
Maximum occupancy: 4 guests
Rate: $326 per night, accommodation only

Bedding configurations:

  • 1 × Queen bed and 2 × Single beds

  • 2 × Queen beds

  • 4 × Single beds (additional one-off fee of $30 per apartment)

Please note that bedding configurations are subject to availability and must be requested at the time of booking.

Payment Schedule and Booking Conditions

Bookings made through Team Group Travel Australia under the AFL Masters Tasmania group accommodation allocation are subject to the following payment schedule:

  • Initial deposit: $250 per person, payable within 7 days of booking confirmation. This deposit is non-refundable.

  • Second payment: Due 10 March 2027. Payment is required to bring the total amount paid to 50% of the total accommodation cost, with the initial deposit counted towards this amount.

  • Final payment: The remaining balance is due 11 August 2027. Once the final payment has been made, the booking becomes non-refundable.

Payment reminders will be emailed two weeks before each scheduled payment is due.

Please note that bookings made through our group accommodation allocation are subject to these payment terms, which may differ from the hotel's direct booking conditions.

How to Book

Complete the below form to request your preferred apartment type and bedding configuration. Our team will review your request and confirm availability within our group allocation.

A Service Fee of $99 per apartment will apply. This fee is payable upfront with the deposit and is non-refundable. This includes:

  • Processing the initial deposit. and second payment.

  • Collecting and processing the final balance payment.

  • Coordinating and facilitating paperwork between each booking and the hotel.

Any additional payments, or more than 1 payee or amendments processed through Group Travel Australia will incur a further $33 service fee per transaction or amendment.

Alternatively, you may book directly with the hotel, subject to availability and the hotel's own booking terms and conditions. All rates are quoted in Australian dollars (AUD) and are subject to confirmation at the time of booking.

Terms and Conditions:
Rates are based on stays of a min 5 nights. Rates quoted are AUD per apartment per night. The Rates are room only. All bookings, amendments or cancellations must be in writing. We require guest rooming list 30 days prior to arrival. No amendments or changes after this time. Bookings cancelled within 45 days of Arrival are 100% non refundable. All apartments require one Adult over 18+ years. Bond: $200 credit card or cash bond per room is required upon check in. If bond is on credit card it will be held for 5-10 working days and then automatically released. All Apartments are self-contained and no services are included. If staying 8 days or more, a refresh service with change of linen etc is provided free of charge.

Alternative Preferred Accommodation – BreakFree Diamond Beach Resort

As an alternative to The Phoenician Gold Coast, BreakFree Diamond Beach Resort will be our second preferred accommodation option for AFL Masters Tasmania players, families and supporters attending the Gold Coast 2027 competition.

If you are interested in staying at BreakFree Diamond Beach Resort, please indicate your preference on the group accommodation form so we can gauge interest and numbers. 2 Bedroom Apartment $469 Per night & 3 Bedroom Apartment $630 Per night

A minimum of 8 room requests is required before we can secure a group accommodation allocation at this property. Once the group allocation is confirmed, a 25% deposit will be payable upon confirmation + $99 booking fee per apartment

Please note that this option is subject to sufficient interest and confirmation of availability. Further details regarding accommodation rates, booking arrangements and payment conditions will be provided once the minimum number of room requests has been reached.
